According to Jeonju University on the 23rd, CEO Yena Park started her entrepreneurial journey in Jeonju when she was in the third year of middle school and entered the Department of Fashion Industry at Jeonju University in 2011. She is now recognized as a prominent young entrepreneur in the region, successfully running 66Girls Co., Ltd., which employs more than 110 people and generates over 60 billion won in annual sales.

Alongside the growth of her company, she has actively participated in sharing activities and regional contributions, such as donating scholarships to her alma mater, supporting disaster recovery efforts around the world, and engaging in charity work for women and youth. As a result, her company has grown into a model fashion enterprise with a positive influence. She has also maintained ongoing cooperation with the Department of Fashion Industry at Jeonju University by providing internship and employment opportunities.

In this special lecture, CEO Park shared her personal journey under the theme "The Journey to Find What You Love," vividly recounting her story of starting a business at the age of 16 and living in the fashion industry for 18 years.

She specifically shared practical strategies and know-how for achieving success in the fashion industry, highlighting the process of discovering niche markets and growing her brand, as well as emphasizing the importance of continuous challenges and innovation.

When asked about her know-how for starting a business during the lecture, CEO Park said, "The first key is sincerity toward customers. Even now, I run my company with the same mindset as when I used to send handwritten letters to customers who made purchases in the early days of the business." She added, "The second key is speed. In the rapidly changing fashion industry, I try to respond swiftly to trends and the voices of customers through quick actions."

She went on to advise, "For juniors considering entrepreneurship, you need to think a little differently. In the early days of my business, there were many companies making only size 55, but I wondered why there was no size 66. That thought led to the creation of 66Girls."

Jeongah Joo, a professor in the Department of Fashion Industry at Jeonju University, stated, "The Department of Fashion Industry at Jeonju University considers strengthening business capabilities through programs that allow students to experience the entrepreneurial process as an important educational goal. This year, we are planning a product design and pop-up store project targeting the Vietnamese market during the winter vacation."

She added, "Gaining practical entrepreneurial experience through a global network will be a valuable opportunity for students to enhance their business skills and entrepreneurial know-how."

Meanwhile, this special lecture was supported by the Jeonbuk RISE project and operates as an entrepreneurship mentoring program that facilitates communication between local entrepreneurs and students. By the end of this year, the program plans to invite entrepreneurs from various fields to share their know-how.
