Korea Investment & Securities Wins Top Award
in Customer-Friendly Category
Korea Investment & Securities has won the top award in the customer-friendly category for its Mobile Trading System (MTS) at the 2025 Asia Smart Finance Awards. The company proactively provides customers with essential information and features throughout the entire investment process, offering a wide range of customer-centric convenience functions and integrated asset management services.
The fractional share trading service for U.S. stocks, designed for individual investors trading overseas, allows purchases starting from as little as 1,000 KRW rather than by the share. Through automatic investment, where users can freely set the amount and period, even beginner investors can easily make regular investments. The company has also introduced, for the first time among securities firms, a domestic bond lending service.
The MTS home screen automatically switches from the domestic tab, available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., to the overseas tab after 5 p.m., depending on the time of access. On the domestic tab, information has been expanded from Korea Exchange data to include NextTrade prices. On the overseas tab, ranking information is provided not only for U.S. stocks but also for stocks listed in Hong Kong, China, and Japan. In particular, through partnerships with Goldman Sachs and Stifel, exclusive U.S. stock research from local analysts is offered, making it easily accessible to users.
Additionally, tax-saving services such as pension tax deduction simulations and overseas stock capital gains tax reduction simulations are available. The company has revamped the UI/UX of services for subscribing to Korean won and foreign currency repurchase agreements (RP), which were previously inconvenient due to outdated designs. Currently, the company is also updating its services for structured notes and overseas bonds to make essential information easier to access.
