"Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo with JW Marriott Hotel Seoul Tamayura" Food Festa to Be Held
The special program "Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo with JW Marriott Hotel Seoul Tamayura Food Festa," part of the 3rd Gyeongnam Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo Festival, will be held on October 25.
At this Food Festa, Chef Lee Kyungjin of JW Marriott Hotel Seoul Tamayura, who is originally from Hapcheon, will return to his hometown to give a live cooking demonstration as a form of talent donation. Visitors to the event can look forward to a unique gourmet experience.
The event will take place twice, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., featuring teppanyaki cooking demonstrations using Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo and local specialty products. A total of 100 free tasting portions-50 per session-will be offered. Visitors will have the opportunity to watch a top chef's live cooking performance up close and experience the exceptional taste of Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo firsthand.
Chef Lee Kyungjin said, "It is meaningful to return to my hometown and promote Hapcheon through my cooking," adding, "I hope this event will help spread the excellence of Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo far and wide."
At the venue, a recipe book featuring various dishes that can be made with Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo will also be produced and distributed. The book will include easy-to-follow recipes for home cooks, and is expected to receive a positive response from visitors.
An official from Hapcheon County stated, "Thanks to Chef Lee Kyungjin's talent donation, the festival will be even richer," and added, "We will continue to develop various programs to promote the excellence of Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo in the future."
Meanwhile, the 3rd Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo Festival will be held from October 24 to 26 for three days at the lawn plaza of the Hapcheon County Citizens' Sports Park. The festival will feature the sale of Hapcheon Hwangto Hanwoo and local agricultural specialties, cultural performances, hands-on activities, and a variety of other programs, offering a wealth of enjoyment for both local residents and tourists.
