Recovery Rate Reaches 62.2% as of Noon on October 22
Level 2 Legal Education System Newly Restored
The recovery rate for systems that ceased functioning due to the fire at the National Information Resources Service has surpassed 60%, 26 days after the incident.
According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, as of 12:00 p.m. on October 22, 441 out of 709 systems (62.2%) that were suspended due to the fire at the National Information Resources Service have been restored.
Among the newly restored systems is the Ministry of Government Legislation's Legal Education System, which is classified as a Level 2 system.
Among the Level 3 systems that have been normalized are: the National Fire Agency's work portal, the Office for Government Policy Coordination's Counter-Terrorism Center website, the Ministry of Employment and Labor's KMC (affiliated agencies) system, and a partially restored version of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's Disaster Safety Liability Insurance Integrated Information System.
In addition, several Level 4 systems have been restored, including: the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's pan-governmental common platform for video conferencing, the Ministry of Employment and Labor's public sector non-regular worker employment improvement system, the Ministry of Employment and Labor's data quality management, the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency's National Institute of Health main website, a partially restored version of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency's Clinical Research Information Service, the National Fire Agency's public data open system, the National Fire Agency's Central 119 Rescue Headquarters website, the Ministry of Personnel Management's Knowhow Plus, the Ministry of Education's Private School Dispute Mediation, the Financial Services Commission's Public Fund Oversight Committee, and the Ministry of Government Legislation's Creative Knowledge Plaza.
So far, the recovery rate for Level 1 systems stands at 80.0%, which is higher than that of other levels. The recovery rate for Level 2 systems is 72.1%, for Level 3 systems it is 65.9%, and for Level 4 systems it is 55.3%.
