A Variety of Performances, Activities, and Food Await Visitors
Jinan County in North Jeolla Province will host the '4th Halloween Costume Event' on November 1, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the plaza of the Maisan Northern Rural Theme Park.
According to the county on October 22, this year's festival is a family-friendly cultural event held under the theme of "Secret Myland - A Fantastic Adventure with Peter Pan," featuring a variety of performances, hands-on activities, and food, all in one place.
Main programs include the Halloween Costume Contest, a magic clown show called Breakers, a B-boy circus performance titled Puppet Box, and a Halloween parade for everyone to enjoy, all designed to offer visitors a unique and memorable experience.
In particular, themed experience booths will be set up, allowing guests to enjoy a wide range of activities such as the Fairy Forest (slime workshop, mini keyring studio, face painting), Pirate Ship (air bounce and balloons, Pirate King land game), Indian Village (macrame knot magic, Indian tarot fortune telling), Lost Children Booth (kids' camp, bookstore), and Crocodile Sea (treasure bracelet making).
Additionally, there will be a stamp event with abundant prizes, a flea market featuring various handmade crafts, and a food zone where visitors can enjoy tteokbokki, fish cakes, and a variety of other foods and desserts, all aimed at attracting families visiting the festival site.
A county official stated, "This festival is a special costume event set against the backdrop of Maisan, and each year, more people from nearby cities such as Jeonju and Daejeon are attending. As a unique and lively tourism festival that brings together residents and tourists alike, we hope you will create unforgettable autumn memories in Secret Myland."
