Gongju City Council Chair Im Dalhee Receives "Korea Legislative Service Award"

Im Dalhee (right), chairman of Gongju City Council, received the Korea Legislative Service Award.

Im Dalhee, chairman of the Gongju City Council and a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, received the Korea Legislative Service Award, presented by the National Council of City, County, and District Council Chairpersons, in recognition of her contributions to local legislative activities and community development.

Im announced on the 22nd that she had received the Korea Legislative Service Award at the 269th meeting of provincial representatives of the National Council of City, County, and District Council Chairpersons, held at the Seocheon County Council on the 21st.

This prestigious award is given to members of local councils across the country who have demonstrated passionate legislative service and have devoted themselves to regional development.

Im previously served as the 8th Administrative and Welfare Committee Chair and the first vice chair of the 9th council, and is currently serving as the chair in the latter half of the 9th council.

Under the slogan "An Open Council, A Better Gongju," she has practiced citizen-centered, on-site legislative activities, and her efforts to advance local autonomy through active communication and policy implementation have been highly praised.

Im stated, "This award is not a personal honor, but the result of the collective efforts of the Gongju City Council members, public officials, and all citizens," adding, "I will continue to do my best to enhance the welfare of citizens and promote community development."
