Yongsan Sarang Gift Certificate Payback Event Resumes... Up to 15% Discount

Retroactive Payback Support for Purchases Until November 30
Additional 5% Payback During Korea Grand Festival Period

Yongsan-gu in Seoul (District Mayor Park Heeyoung) announced on October 22 that the "Chuseok Yongsan Sarang Gift Certificate Payback Event," which began on September 16 and ended on October 13 due to budget exhaustion, will resume thanks to strong support from residents.

The district plans to retroactively provide payback benefits for transactions made after October 13. This event is an extension of the Chuseok campaign, and benefits will be offered for purchases made until November 30. If the budget is exhausted early, the event will end, and the payback gift certificates will be distributed collectively on the 20th of the following month.

Previously, the "Chuseok Yongsan Sarang Gift Certificate," issued on September 16 with a total value of 11 billion won, sold out in a short period thanks to a 7% discount and a 3% payback benefit. The current relay payback event also returns 3% of the purchase amount and applies equally to all buyers of the (new) Yongsan Sarang Gift Certificate, regardless of whether they received a 5% or 7% discount. Consumers can enjoy a real discount benefit ranging from a minimum of 8% to a maximum of 10%.

In particular, during the "Korea Grand Festival" held from October 29 to November 9, an additional 5% payback benefit will be provided for payments made with the Yongsan Sarang Gift Certificate. Including the existing 3% benefit, consumers can receive up to a 15% discount. If the budget limit is reached, the event will end early on a first-come, first-served basis. The district aims to promote local consumption and revitalize the commercial district through this relay payback event.
