The delegation will attend the opening ceremony of TIS 2025 in Seville, Spain, on October 22 (local time). After the opening ceremony, Mayor Lee is scheduled to meet with Mayor Jose Luis Sanz of Seville to sign a friendship agreement between the two cities. Following the signing, there will also be an appointment ceremony for the city's International Honorary Advisor in Spain.

Mayor Lee will personally participate in TIS 2025 sessions for three days, where he will explain the cooperation between Korea and European countries in the fields of culture and tourism, highlight the unique tourism features of Yongin, and engage in discussions with European representatives.

Starting on October 26, the delegation will visit the "L'Escoutar" cultural center in the Pridilen district of Montpellier, France, to meet with Deputy Mayor Nicole Marin-Coury and discuss ways to enhance exchange and cooperation between the two cities.

Mayor Lee also plans to visit the Montpellier Metropole government building to review local public transportation policies, including the free public transportation initiative, expansion of bicycle infrastructure, and operation of low-emission zones. Montpellier Metropole is an administrative organization that oversees the metropolitan area within the Herault department of the Occitanie region in southern France.

Montpellier opened all buses and trams to residents free of charge on December 21, 2023, in an effort to reduce reliance on cars and improve urban accessibility and equity.
