Ansan City Recruiting Companies for "Excellent Employment Company Certification" Until November 21

The "Excellent Employment Company Certification Program" is a system designed to encourage small and medium-sized enterprises that have contributed to job creation and employment stability within the region, and to promote voluntary job creation in the private sector.

The city will identify and select outstanding small and medium-sized enterprises with fewer than 300 employees that have demonstrated excellence in expanding new employment and maintaining employment stability, and will provide a range of incentives.

Eligible applicants are small and medium-sized enterprises whose headquarters or main factories are located in Ansan City and have been operating normally for at least two years. Companies with 50 to fewer than 300 employees must have increased employment by at least three people and achieved a growth rate of at least 5% over the past year. Companies with fewer than 50 employees are eligible if they have increased employment by at least two people.

However, companies will be excluded from selection if they have caused social controversy due to issues such as national or local tax arrears, wage arrears, environmental pollution, illegal activities, or if their financial transactions are not normal.

Selected companies will receive a certificate and a plaque, and for two years from the date of certification, they will be eligible for incentives such as additional points in business support programs including Ansan City’s SME development fund loan support and overseas market development delegations, as well as partial reductions in water and sewage fees.

Companies wishing to participate can submit their applications in person or by mail to the Labor and Employment Division at Ansan City Hall.

Lee Minguen, Mayor of Ansan, stated, "Securing jobs is essential for sustainable development and improving the quality of life for citizens," adding, "We will continue to identify and support excellent employment companies in the future."
