The Hamyang County Seasonal Worker Support Center currently houses 32 Vietnamese workers who arrived in March. Until the end of the farming season in November, they are assisting farms in urgent need of labor with tasks such as apple thinning, onion work, and pepper harvesting.

As the drill was aimed at foreigners, interpreters participated as well. The training focused on practical exercises, including reporting fires to 119, fire notification drills, initial fire suppression, and evacuation and rescue procedures.

One of the participating workers shared, "Through the fire drill, I learned how to use a fire extinguisher and paid close attention to the evacuation routes. I now feel confident that I can stay calm and protect my life even if a fire breaks out."

An official from Hamyang County stated, "We expect this drill to not only improve foreign workers' ability to respond to fires, but also to promote safety awareness and help create a stable working environment. We will continue to work toward building an environment where foreign workers can live with peace of mind."
