Cooperative Projects to Promote the Spread of Easy and Proper Language Culture
Nexon announced on October 20 that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the National Institute of the Korean Language for collaboration on the development and dissemination of Korean language content based on the free block coding platform "Hello Maple."

This MOU aims to create an environment where anyone can enjoyably improve their Korean language proficiency, reflecting the current state of Korean language use, such as low literacy rates and frequent use of loanwords. The two organizations plan to develop game-based Korean language learning content and carry out various cooperative projects to promote the spread of easy and proper language culture.
Previously, Nexon and the National Institute of the Korean Language began their collaboration last month by launching a new Korean language content titled "Run! Korean Language Running" on Hello Maple. Nexon produced the educational content to help elementary and middle school students, its main user base, improve their Korean language knowledge, and the National Institute of the Korean Language reviewed it. On October 18, as part of the "2025 Hangeul Hanmadang" event organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the two organizations operated a collaborative booth at the "Korean Language Dictation Contest" held at Jibokjae in Gyeongbokgung Palace.
In addition, Nexon is currently running the "Proper Korean Language Usage Campaign" to celebrate the launch of new content and the opening of the comment feature on Hello Maple last month. Officially launched in September 2024, Hello Maple is a block coding platform based on MapleStory intellectual property, and it is being steadily utilized in digital education sites nationwide.
Shin Minseok, General Director of Nexon, stated, "We are pleased to provide children with the opportunity to learn proper Korean expressions in a fun and easy way through this collaboration. We will continue to introduce various content that combines learning and play to expand educational value."
A representative from the National Institute of the Korean Language commented, "We hope this will be an opportunity for children and teenagers to easily and enjoyably learn the value of the Korean language in a digital environment. We will continue our collaboration to promote the spread of easy and proper language culture."
