Loan Limit Raised from 300 Million to 500 Million Won
Excluded from DSR and LTV Calculations
Dunamu, the operator of the virtual asset exchange Upbit, has increased the maximum limit for in-house loans related to home purchases and jeonse (long-term lease deposits) to 500 million won per employee.
According to the virtual asset industry on October 20, Dunamu expanded the in-house loan limit for home purchases and jeonse deposits from 300 million won to 500 million won per employee in July.
This is an interest-free loan provided from the company’s internal fund as part of employee welfare benefits. It is not included in the calculation of the Debt Service Ratio (DSR) or the Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio, which are the standards for loan limits in the financial sector.
Dunamu has stated that the expansion of the loan limit took place in July and is unrelated to the recent October 15 measures.
