Goheung County to Hold 'Nokdong Port Drone Show' Closing Ceremony on the 25th

A Spectacular Finale with 1,500 Drones and Marine Fireworks

Goheung County in South Jeolla Province (Governor Kong Youngmin) announced on the 20th that it will hold the '2025 Nokdong Port Drone Show Closing Ceremony' at the Nokdong Port Marine Garden area at 8 p.m. on the 25th.

This event marks the grand finale of the drone show, which has continued for seven months since last April. A fleet of 1,500 drones and a multimedia marine fireworks show will be staged together, promising an unforgettable experience for the audience.

In addition, the awards ceremony for the drone show photo contest, which saw enthusiastic participation from many residents and tourists, will also take place. A total of 10 winners who achieved outstanding results in the smartphone and general photography categories will receive a citation from the governor and Goheung Love Gift Certificates worth a total of 4 million won as prizes.

An official from the county’s Aerospace Promotion Team said, "The combination of 1,500 drones, laser beams, fireworks over the sea, and music will provide an unforgettable experience for residents and visitors alike. We hope many people will come to Nokdong Port on the 25th with their loved ones to create special memories."

Meanwhile, the county plans to hold a special drone show performance at the Goheung Yuzu Festival, which will take place over four days from November 6 to 9 in the Handong-ri area of Pungyang-myeon.
