Interest is growing in the "premium sleep products" introduced by Coway's sleep and healing care brand, BEREX. With the peak season for newlyweds and house moves in the second half of the year, more people are considering a "bedroom renewal." This trend is driven by a desire not just to replace furniture, but to transform the bedroom into an emotional space where one can fully relax and relieve the fatigue of the day.
On the 21st, Coway announced the launch of three new products designed to elevate the quality of bedroom spaces. First, the "BEREX Modi Mattress" is an upgraded version of the best-selling BEREX Prime Mattress, focusing on the fundamentals of a good night's sleep. It features "signature independent springs," which are individually separated to minimize movement, providing a stable and undisturbed sleep even if your partner tosses and turns, making it ideal for newlyweds. The top layer is equipped with "Contour 7-Zone Foam," which delicately distributes body pressure across different zones, delivering firm support and a cozy feel.
Coway has also expanded its premium flame-retardant mattress lineup with the launch of the "BEREX Signature Fire Shield Mattress." This product enhances fire safety by using flame-retardant materials that have been certified for safety both domestically and internationally, while maintaining a luxurious design and excellent comfort. Coway's proprietary flame-retardant technology is applied to the top, bottom, and sides of the mattress in the form of the "BEREX Fire Shield Material." The mattress features a dual flame-retardant structure, using "Wool Fire Shield Padding," which combines natural wool with flame-retardant padding, helping to alleviate concerns about indoor fires during the fall and winter. The "Dual Support System" with micro pocket springs gently absorbs even the slightest movements, providing optimal support.
Following the mattresses, Coway introduced the "BEREX Modern Round Frame," which features a curved head design, winged sides, and premium fabrics for a refined look. The wings are designed with generous depth to help users focus on sleep, and also allow for comfortable relaxation while leaning against the bed. In addition, sophisticated patterned fabrics such as houndstooth check and herringbone, along with a leather-textured material on the back of the headboard, create a luxurious and stylish interior effect.
Coway offers a "mattress care service" every four months to mattress rental customers, carried out by home care doctors who are hygiene experts. In addition, customers can replace the comfort topper with a new one once during the contract period, helping to maintain the freshness of a new bed.
