Global AI and Semiconductor Leaders Gather to Share Their Vision
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is set to visit South Korea. As a key figure in building the global semiconductor and artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem, he is expected to discuss collaboration with companies such as Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.
Nvidia announced on the 19th that CEO Jensen Huang will visit South Korea to attend the 'APEC CEO Summit 2025,' which will be held in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, at the end of this month. The APEC CEO Summit, hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will take place over four days from the 28th to the 31st. A representative from Nvidia stated, "During this visit, CEO Huang will share his vision for accelerating technological innovation and growth worldwide, including in South Korea, across various fields such as AI, robotics, digital twins, and autonomous driving technologies."

The CEO Summit will bring together government officials from around the world and leaders of global companies to discuss key economic issues such as AI, semiconductors, and the energy transition. In particular, there is interest in what topics will be presented by figures such as CEO Huang, who is visiting at the invitation of Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman and SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, as well as OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.
The semiconductor industry expects that this event could serve as a starting point for meaningful partnerships, going beyond simple networking. Attention is focused on how Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix will collaborate with global AI companies, and whether Chairman Jay Y. Lee and Chairman Chey Tae-won will appear together with CEO Huang and others.
