Rain Expected on the East Coast and Jeju Island

On Sunday, the 19th, the entire country is expected to be mostly overcast, gradually clearing up from the afternoon.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, Gangwon Yeongdong and Jeju Island will experience cloudy weather throughout the day, while other regions will have many clouds in the morning, gradually clearing in the afternoon.
Morning temperatures are forecast to range from 10 to 17 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 17 and 23 degrees Celsius. However, as cold air moves down from the north in the afternoon, temperatures are expected to drop sharply, and strong winds will make it feel even colder and brisk.
Rain is expected in the early morning along the East Coast of North Gyeongsang and in the northeastern mountainous areas, in Gangwon Yeongdong during the morning, and in Jeju Island from the morning through late afternoon. In Gangwon Yeongseo, northern North Chungcheong, inland North Gyeongsang (excluding the northeastern mountains), and eastern Gyeonggi, less than 0.1 mm of light rain may fall until dawn.
From the 18th to the 19th, expected precipitation is 5 to 20 mm for Gangwon Yeongdong and Jeju Island, and 5 to 10 mm for the East Coast of North Gyeongsang and the northeastern mountainous areas.
Fine dust concentrations across the country will remain at a "good" level. Wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the South Sea. In offshore areas, wave heights are forecast at 1.5 to 3.5 meters in the East and West Seas, and 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
