Jeonnam Province will operate a customized investment attraction promotion booth at the "2025 Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo," which will be held at the Mokpo Culture & Arts Center and surrounding areas until October 26, 2025.
With a large number of domestic and international food-related companies, overseas buyers, and related organizations participating in the expo, it is expected to be an excellent opportunity to widely promote Jeonnam's outstanding investment environment and food industry competitiveness both domestically and internationally.
Jeonnam Province will set up a promotional booth in the K-Food Industry Pavilion at the expo, where it will actively conduct investment attraction activities through TV promotional videos, distribution of promotional brochures and souvenirs, and one-on-one customized consultations.
Until October 19, Jeonnam Province, Gokseong County, and Jangheung County will participate, and from October 21 to 26, Jeonnam Province, Suncheon City, and Muan County will join, focusing on promoting Jeonnam's excellent investment environment and various corporate support incentives, particularly around major specialized industrial complexes.
The Ungok Specialized Agro-Industrial Complex in Gokseong boasts excellent transportation accessibility due to its proximity to major cities such as Gwangju and Suncheon, and is equipped with infrastructure specialized for the food industry and reasonable sales conditions.
The Jangheung Bio Food Industrial Complex has established itself as a hub for high value-added food industries, with advanced bio companies specializing in functional and fermented foods clustered together, leading to active research and development and technology support.
The Mongtan Specialized Agro-Industrial Complex in Muan is attracting attention as an optimal investment destination for processed food companies, such as food and beverage manufacturers, thanks to its logistics accessibility near the airport. The Suncheon Green Bio Industry Base is focusing on nurturing cosmetics, food, and pet food as strategic items, and is being developed as a hub for the green bio industry through collaboration with universities and research institutes.
