Recruitment of Foreign Participants for Multicultural Festival at the 3rd Daejeon Donggu Dongrak Festival

At the '2025 3rd Daejeon Donggu Dongrak Festival,' around 10 foreign participants will be recruited to take part in the 'World Beverage Journey' experience event, which brings together multicultural families and citizens.

The 'World Beverage Journey' experience event is organized by the International Multicultural Future Strategy Promotion Institute to foster understanding of diverse cultures and mutual respect through beverages from various countries. Applications will be accepted until the 23rd.

The activity period runs for three days, from the 24th to the 26th, every day from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Donggwangjang-ro and the Daedongcheon area in Soje-dong, Donggu, Daejeon. The recruitment is open to foreigners or international students who can introduce beverage cultures from their own countries, with a total of approximately 10 participants to be selected.

Applicants who can communicate in Korean, English, and their native language, and who are able to explain or demonstrate their country's beverages, will be given preference. Participants will assist with beverage tastings, introduce recipes, and interact with visitors. An activity allowance above the minimum hourly wage will be provided.

Applications must be submitted via email by 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd.

A representative from the institute stated, "This event will be a meaningful opportunity for foreign participants to introduce their cultures and communicate with local citizens."

Meanwhile, at the institute's booth, practical information support for international students will be provided through student visa and employment consultations, in cooperation with Administrative Officer Lee Miok (Daeji Administrative Law Office) and CEO Jeong Jiseon (Kwithu).
