Bear Tree Park, one of the major tourist attractions in Sejong City, has been selected as a Fire Safety Education Excellence Park.
According to the Northern Fire Station of the Sejong Fire Headquarters on the 17th, a certification plaque was presented to Bear Tree Park, located in Jeondong-myeon. The Fire Safety Education Excellence Park designation is part of the "Fire Safety Education Certification System," which aims to strengthen fire safety capabilities at organizations and groups closely connected to the public.
On this day, the Northern Fire Station inspected Bear Tree Park's fire safety facilities and major infrastructure, and discussed ways to enhance mutual cooperation for improved fire safety management. Over 90% of Bear Tree Park's staff have completed statutory-level first aid and customized fire safety training, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automated external defibrillator (AED) usage, and fire evacuation procedures.
Kim Jeonsu, Chief of the Northern Fire Station, stated, "Bear Tree Park's proactive efforts serve as a model," adding, "I hope this certification will serve as an opportunity for a culture of safety to spread throughout Sejong."
