The recovery rate of government computer systems, which were halted due to a fire at the main Daejeon office of the National Information Resources Service (NIRS), has reached 48.9%.
According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters (CDSCHQ) on October 17, as of 6 p.m., 347 out of a total of 709 systems had been restored, an increase of 7 systems since noon.
By classification, 31 first-grade systems (77.5%), 41 second-grade systems (60.3%), 141 third-grade systems (54.0%), and 134 fourth-grade systems (39.4%) have been restored.
The newly restored systems include: ▲ Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs Military Manpower Linkage (fourth-grade) ▲ Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs ITSM (fourth-grade) ▲ National Data Office Performance Management (third-grade) ▲ Ministry of Science and ICT Office Management_Knowledge Nuri (third-grade) ▲ Presidential Committee on Ageing Society and Population Policy Main Website (third-grade), among others.
