Gwangju City in Gyeonggi Province held an opening ceremony on the 17th for the 'Chowol-eup Ssangdong-ri (Jungno 3-4 Line) Road Construction Project,' which was promoted to improve local transportation conditions.

The 'Chowol-eup Ssangdong-ri (Jungno 3-4 Line) Road Construction Project' was constructed with a total length of 230 meters and a width of 12 meters. After completing the construction in September, the city installed traffic safety facilities and conducted a road inspection before fully opening the road to the public.
The opening ceremony was held at the site in the Chowol-eup Ssangdong-ri area, with Mayor Bang Se-hwan, city council members, local residents, and officials from related organizations in attendance.
Citizens who visited the site expressed high expectations and a warm welcome, saying, "The opening of this road will make commuting much more convenient."

Mayor Bang Se-hwan stated, "The newly opened road will serve as a bypass for the Ssangdong Interchange on National Route 3, significantly improving transportation convenience for residents. We will continue to expand urban transportation infrastructure to ensure a safe and convenient environment for citizens to travel."
Meanwhile, the city expects that the opening of this road will have tangible effects, such as alleviating traffic congestion and improving the convenience of travel in the Ssangdong 1 District area.
