3 p.m. on October 19 at Uiam Park... A Fall Busking Stage Filled with Emotion
Featuring Wax, Okdal, and Jang Deulle... Hosted by Singer Tei
An Invitation to 'Chuncheon, the City of Autumn Sensibility' Where Music and the Lake Become One
As autumn deepens, a special concert will offer citizens the chance to enjoy sweet music against the beautiful backdrop of Uiam Lake.
Chuncheon City (Mayor Yuk Donghan), in collaboration with G1 Broadcasting, will host the 'Chuncheon Sairo 248 Busking' event at 3 p.m. on October 19 at Uiam Park.
This busking performance, themed 'Creating Memories Between Uiam Lake,' will take place with the newly opened 'Chuncheon Sairo 248' suspension bridge-Chuncheon's latest landmark, inaugurated in December last year-as its backdrop. The event aims to introduce the stunning tourist attractions of Uiam Lake to both residents and visitors, with hopes of revitalizing local tourism.
The concert will be hosted by singer Tei. Wax, known for the song 'Fixing My Makeup,' the emotional duo Okdal (Oksang Dalbit), and Jang Deulle will also perform, delivering a moving stage where music and nature become one.
Through this event, the city plans to continue developing spaces for culture, art, and healing as part of 'The Wave' project, which links tourist attractions around Uiam Lake with Gongjicheon at its center. Initiatives include installing nighttime landscape lighting, expanding waterfront facilities, and holding specialized cultural festivals.
A city official stated, "We hope this will be a precious opportunity to deliver the joy and comfort that music brings to citizens and tourists weary from daily life, and to fully convey the beautiful sensibility that the city of Chuncheon offers."
