The Gyeongnam Office of Education will hold a "Regional On-Site Mock Interview Camp" for third-year high school students in the province.
On October 17, the Office announced that the initiative aims to provide a variety of information and real-life mock interview experiences to students preparing for the comprehensive student record screening interviews for the 2026 university early admission process, thereby boosting their confidence for the actual interviews.
This camp will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will target 538 students who have been pre-selected and recommended by each school.
On October 18, the Eastern Region camp will be held at Gusan High School, while the Southwestern Region camp will take place at Jinyang High School.
On October 25, the Central Region camp will be held at Changwon Towol High School.
Participants can choose from different types of interviews, including prompt-based interviews, in-depth verification interviews based on student records, and the Multiple Mini Interview (MMI), which evaluates critical thinking, communication skills, and ethical judgment through a series of short interviews in various scenarios.
The interviews will be conducted by teachers from the University Admission Specialist Committee, who have extensive experience in university admissions and interview training.
The committee plans to use mock interview questions of various types, which they have developed themselves based on their analysis of changes in university interview formats for the 2026 academic year, to simulate real interview conditions.
Lee Ilman, Director of Career Education, stated, "It is extremely important to approach interviews with confidence and without fear, which comes from having as much real-life experience as possible. I hope that this regional mock interview camp will be of great help to students preparing for their interviews."
