Earn Final Acceptance into Midas Group's
High School Graduate Internship Program
Daegu Software Meister High School (Acting Principal Han Seokmin) announced on October 17 that students Lim Gyuyeon, Park Haeun, and Park Jimin have been accepted into the high school graduate internship program at MIDAS IT, a global leader in construction engineering software.
This achievement was made possible through the "Cheongchun Eoram Project," which was launched as part of a business agreement signed with the Midas Group in November of last year.
Three students from Daegu Software Meister High School who were accepted into the Midas Group high school graduate internship are cheering with Acting Principal Han Seokmin.
Daegu Software Meister High School has actively participated in the "NEWRROW" competency development program operated by the Midas Group, supporting students in systematically learning and practicing communication, strategy, and reflection skills. In addition, the school has contributed to enhancing students' practical employability by providing customized competency assessments that allow students to evaluate their own growth potential.
Park Jimin from the Software Development Department, Park Haeun from the Embedded Software Department, and Lim Gyuyeon from the Artificial Intelligence Software Department have earned the honor of being finally accepted into the Midas Group's high school graduate experiential internship program.
The successful students demonstrated their practical skills by participating in the "Cheongchun Eoram Vibe Coding Hackathon" held at the Midas Group headquarters from September 5 to 6. A total of 43 students from software meister high schools in Daegu, Gwangju, Busan, and Gyeongbuk participated in the hackathon, forming teams of three to five members to design and develop innovative features for NEWRROW. In particular, they received high praise for their practical abilities in proposing generative AI-based problem-solving ideas, designing UX/UI, implementing prototypes, and delivering team presentations.
The accepted students will carry out practical projects at MIDAS IT headquarters and its partner departments for approximately three months starting from October 20. Depending on their performance during the internship, they will be given the opportunity to transition to a conversion internship and potentially become full-time employees at the Midas Group.
Acting Principal Han Seokmin stated, "The students experienced the importance of collaboration as they communicated and coordinated their opinions with each other, and they showed growth by applying the knowledge learned at school to real-world industry settings."
Building on this achievement, Daegu Software Meister High School plans to further strengthen the educational use of the "NEWRROW" platform, which fosters core competencies for the AI era such as collaboration, creativity, and metacognition, and to continue operating various programs that systematically assess and support each student's growth potential.
