This volunteer activity was organized in consideration of the shortage of publicly operated shelters and the poor operating conditions of private shelters.

The initiative aims to directly support private shelters, alleviate the burden on the field, and promote a culture of ‘respect for life’ in the local community through the protection of abandoned animals.

Cho Joonhee, head of the regional headquarters, said, “We prepared this volunteer activity with the belief that protecting abandoned animals is the starting point of respecting life,” adding, “We will continue to pay attention to various issues in the local community and provide practical support where help is needed.”
