Moonjang Construction Co., Ltd. will open the housing exhibition center for "Oryong District 2 GN Heim," a new apartment complex with a total of 793 units, on October 17 at blocks 37 and 38 in Oryong District 2, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do. The company will officially begin the sales schedule. This project is drawing significant attention from both end-users and investors, as it represents the final piece in the 20-year development of the Namanak New Town and is the last new apartment complex to be built on a multi-family residential site in the Oryong housing district.
Anticipation for the opening is high, especially since the project briefing session held on September 25 was a great success. The event, which took place at a large convention hall near Mokpo, saw all 500 seats filled early, and with standing attendees included, nearly 1,000 visitors attended.
Having proven the strong interest of local buyers and investors, "Oryong District 2 GN Heim" is expected to attract many visitors to its housing exhibition center. As the final puzzle piece in the 20-year development of Namanak New Town and the last apartment (multi-family housing) supply site in the Oryong housing district, the project holds significant scarcity value. The complex consists of 793 units, all of which are designed around the highly popular 84㎡ exclusive area, and some units offer permanent river views of the Yeongsangang River and Namchangcheon Stream.
The sales schedule is as follows: special supply applications on Monday, October 27; first-priority applications on Tuesday, October 28; and second-priority applications on Wednesday, October 29. The winner announcement will be made on Tuesday, November 4 for block 37, and on Wednesday, November 5 for block 38. Since the winner announcement dates differ for each block, applicants can apply for both blocks with a single subscription account, increasing their chances of winning. The official contract period will take place from Monday, November 17 to Wednesday, November 19.
A sales representative stated, "Oryong District 2 GN Heim is highly significant as it benefits from a reasonable price ceiling system and is the last rare complex to be supplied before further regulations are implemented. For end-users, it is a stable homeownership opportunity, and for investors, it offers a strategic option to secure future value. We expect strong interest in both the application and contract stages."
Oryong District 2 GN Heim will also offer competitive pricing, as the price ceiling system applies. Although a certain level of price increase is inevitable due to recent rises in basic construction costs and labor expenses, this is essentially the last apartment under the current price ceiling system before the government revises the policy to address the "lottery sales" controversy. As such, both stability and future value are ensured.
In addition, specialized landscaping and community design will maximize residents' satisfaction. The integrated community infrastructure, which includes walking trails, plazas, and cultural spaces, will provide a distinguished lifestyle that goes beyond mere residential space.
Most notably, "Oryong District 2 GN Heim" is being introduced by Moonjang Construction Co., Ltd., which celebrates its 25th anniversary and has a track record of supplying over 12,000 units nationwide. Since its founding, Moonjang Construction has strictly adhered to its "three zero" principles: zero net debt, zero promissory note issuance, and zero unsold units. As a result, the company has maintained an A rating from NICE Credit Rating for five consecutive years, demonstrating both financial soundness and stability.
Furthermore, the company has enhanced its brand credibility with major awards, including the Grand Prize in the Customer Satisfaction category at the 2025 Hankyung Residential Culture Awards and the Presidential Commendation on Housing Construction Day in 2015. These accolades show that GN Heim has established itself not just as an apartment brand, but as a symbol of premium residential culture.
The educational environment is also a key highlight. Sarang Kindergarten and Sarang Elementary School (tentative name) are planned in front of the complex, enabling safe, five-minute walk commutes for students. In addition, the renowned Korean education brand Jongro M School is scheduled to open in the complex, offering residents' children free tuition for one year and a 30% discount on tuition for an additional year. For parents, this provides the special value of reduced private education costs and access to a high-quality educational environment.
Living convenience and transportation infrastructure are also excellent. Residents can easily access major commercial facilities such as Lotte Mart and Lotte Outlet via the Namchang Bridge, and administrative centers like Jeollanam-do Provincial Government, the Office of Education, the Court, and the Police Headquarters are also nearby. The KTX and SRT Mokpo Station, Mokpo Intercity Bus Terminal, and the Seohaean and Namhaean Expressways provide excellent regional connectivity and proximity to workplaces. Furthermore, the planned second phase of the Honam High-Speed Railway and the double-track Namhae Line will further enhance transportation infrastructure, boosting future value.
Meanwhile, a variety of events will be held in conjunction with the opening of the housing exhibition center, attracting significant attention. For three days after the opening, there will be a range of prizes and events. Prize draws will be held twice daily at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., with attractive prizes such as the LG Styler, Samsung 65-inch TV, and LG StanbyMe. Food trucks will offer a variety of snacks, and all visitors will receive complimentary ramen. These opening events are expected to generate high interest in the region.
The housing exhibition center is located in Namaek-ri, Samhyang-eup, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do.
