During an interview with CNBC on the same day, Secretary Besant was asked which trade negotiations he is currently most focused on. He responded, "I think we're about to wrap things up with South Korea."

When asked whether there are disagreements regarding South Korea's investment in the United States, he replied, "The devil is in the details, but we are working out the details."

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Koo Yooncheol departed for the United States on this day to attend the G20 Finance Ministers' Meeting. During his visit, Deputy Prime Minister Koo is expected to hold talks with Secretary Besant.
