After the government announced additional real estate measures, a surge in visitors to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport website caused access disruptions, making the site temporarily unavailable.
On the afternoon of the 15th, those attempting to access the Ministry's website were met with a message stating, "Waiting to access the service," along with a notice that read, "There are currently too many users, so access is delayed. Please try again later." The server did not completely crash, and users were able to reach the homepage after waiting for a certain period.
As of 6:00 p.m. on the same day, access to the Ministry's website had been fully restored and was functioning normally.

At 10:00 a.m. that day, the Ministry released a press release on housing market stabilization measures on its website. The Ministry explained, "A large number of users tried to download the press release on housing market stabilization measures and the materials from the real estate-related ministers' meeting at the same time, which caused the surge in traffic." As of 5:00 p.m. that day, the document had been viewed over 30,000 times.
An official from the Ministry stated, "In addition to the website, we have posted the measures on seven official social networking services, including our blog and Facebook," adding, "Users can also access the materials through these channels."
Earlier that morning, the government designated all of Seoul and 12 areas in Gyeonggi Province as speculative overheated districts, adjustment target areas, and land transaction permit zones, and announced housing market stabilization measures that subdivide loan limits according to housing prices.
