Held for Four Days at Seomjingang Train Village Until the 26th

A Variety of Performances Including EBS Avengers and Hello Carbot
Gokseong County in South Jeolla Province announced on October 15 that it will host the 25th Gokseong Simcheong Children's Festival under the theme "A Special Day as a Gift for Children" at Gokseong Seomjingang Train Village from October 23 to 26.
This year, the county plans to organize the festival with a variety of performances and hands-on experiences tailored to children's perspectives, striving to truly create "a special day as a gift for children," as the theme suggests.
The opening parade and performances will take place at the central plaza of Seomjingang Train Village from 5 p.m. on October 23. Around 200 children from local daycare centers will participate in the "Gokseong Cute Avengers on the Move!" parade, dressed in nostalgic fashion that matches the steam locomotive setting. Following the parade, the opening celebration musical "Gokseong Goblin Hunters" will be performed.
During the festival, the most popular shows for children will be held daily. On October 23, there will be a concert featuring covers of popular animation OSTs; on October 24, "EBS Avengers"; on October 25, "Catch! Tinyping" and the children's play "The Bremen Town Musicians"; and on October 26, "Hello Carbot" and "Peter Rabbit" will be performed. In addition, a magic balloon concert will be held every day on the main stage, adding to the festive excitement.
A variety of programs for families have also been prepared. On October 24, children's club DJ LUNA will perform, and on October 25, the "Leeds 2000 Concert" featuring Soyou, Lee Sooyoung, Ko Yoojin, Ulala Session, and Cleo will be held for parents to enjoy as well. On October 26, following October 24, DJ LUNA and popular dance challenges will be featured in the children's random play dance "Children's Day Concert."
Furthermore, throughout the train village, various performance zones such as Transformers, dinosaurs, and bubbles will be set up. In the rose garden, children can join the Mission Exploration Team, and at Chichippuppu Square, a children's playground with diverse photo zones will be created to further enhance the festival atmosphere.
Meanwhile, various events will also take place throughout the Gokseong area. From October 23 to 26, the Seomjingang International Experimental Art Festival will be held, and on October 24, the children's family play "Cheonhamuppong" will be performed at the Gokseong Leisure Culture Center. At the Gokseong Children's Library, a range of programs for families to enjoy together will be available at all times.
A county official stated, "This year, we are utilizing the entire train village as the festival venue and have prepared a variety of programs. We will ensure that children can enjoy a safe and happy festival filled with diverse experiences and activities."
