Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on October 15 that it will co-host the "1st Yangju Korean Beef Livestock Products Festival" with Yangju Livestock Cooperative Association (headed by Lee Hugwang), supported by a public project from the Gyeonggi Agro-Fisheries Promotion Agency. The festival will be held for two days, from October 25 to 26.
This festival is designed to widely promote the excellence of Yangju Korean beef and support the expansion of sales channels for local agricultural and livestock products. A variety of programs have been prepared for both citizens and farmers to enjoy together.
During the festival, visitors can look forward to a wide range of attractions and experiences, including the sale of agricultural and livestock products from the Yangju area, discounted sales of Yangju Korean beef and other livestock products, a charcoal grill zone, consumer participation events, and celebratory performances on a special stage.
The festival will take place at the Yangju Livestock Cooperative Association’s Livestock Products Sales Center (28-37, Godeok-ro 355beon-gil, Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do). An additional temporary parking lot (699, Gwangsa-dong, Yangju-si) will be available, and visitors can park their vehicles there and take a shuttle bus to the festival venue.
A festival organizer stated, "Through this festival, we hope to widely promote the excellence of Yangju Korean beef and the competitiveness of local agricultural and livestock products, creating a place for harmony between citizens and farmers. We have prepared a variety of programs for visitors to enjoy, so we ask for your interest and participation."
