The key objectives of this agreement are to: ▲ provide tailored job opportunities for seniors ▲ realize eco-friendly values and contribute to the local community through walking deliveries ▲ strengthen community-based services that connect local businesses with residents.

GS Retail will support participating seniors to work as walking delivery personnel through its local delivery platform "Woori Neighborhood Delivery," and will provide commissions and incentives based on their performance. Dongjak District will be responsible for recruiting seniors, providing basic training, managing participant lists, and post-management. Both organizations have also agreed to jointly promote the project and explore additional areas of cooperation.

The project will begin in earnest at the end of this month, starting with the recruitment and training of participating seniors. Seniors who complete the training will be given opportunities for walking deliveries through the Woori Neighborhood Delivery application (app) and will be compensated according to their performance.

GS Retail is already operating the "Senior Woochin" model in Seoul, Busan, Cheonan, and other cities. Jin Hyuk Jeon, Head of O4O Division at GS Retail, stated, "The walking delivery senior job project led by GS Retail is more than just an economic activity; it is a model that realizes multiple values such as health, independence, and community contribution. Together with Dongjak District, we will further expand ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management and establish a leading model for senior employment."
