Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency Earns "Good Workplace" Certification... Incentives for Three Years

The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency has obtained the certification of "Gyeonggi Family-Friendly Good Workplace."


The Gyeonggi Family-Friendly Certification is a system promoted by Gyeonggi Province to spread family-friendly management among public institutions and private companies within the province.


The agency currently operates a wide range of systems that help employees balance work and family life, such as an on-site daycare center, flexible work arrangements, spousal paternity leave, childcare and family care leave, and special leave for long-serving employees.


In addition, the agency has institutionalized comprehensive health checkups for employees and created rest areas, establishing an environment where staff can recover physically and mentally in their daily routines.


Thanks to these institutional foundations, the agency received high marks in this evaluation for its flexible work operations, support for childbirth and parenting, health management, and improvements to the working environment.

With this certification, the agency will receive various policy incentives for three years. As a certified organization, it will present a model case to companies in the province, expand education and promotional programs to foster a work-family balance environment, and support the spread of a family-friendly culture throughout the region.


Kim Hyungon, President of the agency, stated, "We have consistently expanded and improved our family-friendly systems, believing that work-life balance leads to the sustainable growth of the organization." He added, "As the institution overseeing the certification program, we will continue to present model cases to companies in the province and strive to spread a family-friendly culture throughout the region."


Meanwhile, since this year, the agency has been operating the "Gyeonggi Family-Friendly Certified Companies Recruitment Center" online platform, connecting certified companies with job seekers. It provides free recruitment support to certified companies and differentiated services such as AI mock interviews and one-on-one employment consulting to job seekers, working to expand the culture of family-friendly management.
