Jangseong County in South Jeolla Province announced on October 15 that film director Yoonseong Kang has been invited as a guest lecturer for the Jangseong Academy, which will be held on October 16.

In 2023, he won the Best Picture award at the 2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards for "Casino," the Series Director Award at the 59th Grand Bell Awards, and the Prime Minister's Commendation. There will also be time for participants to share their own answers and thoughts on the question, "How should we live?" After the lecture, a "talk concert" with actor Lim Hyeongjun and a fan signing event will also take place.

The Jangseong Academy, which holds the world record for the longest continuous operation, is held on the first and third Thursday of every month. Anyone can participate by visiting the Small Theater at the Jangseong Culture and Arts Center. Real-time participation is also available via the Jangseong County YouTube channel, and lectures for which the speaker has agreed to share materials can be replayed on the official website and YouTube channel.
