On October 15, CJ CheilJedang announced the launch of the 'Bibigo Matcha Bungeoppang.' This new product was created in collaboration with Super Matcha, an organic matcha brand that promotes sustainable and healthy food culture.

Bibigo Matcha Bungeoppang actively reflects the global matcha trend, which has become a lifestyle in itself. The product features a cream filling and bread made with domestically produced matcha, capturing the rich flavor of matcha. In addition, CJ CheilJedang’s unique 'pre-mix technology,' utilizing Korean glutinous rice flour, delivers a crispy and chewy texture.

By simply cooking it in an air fryer for 10 minutes, consumers can easily enjoy delicious bungeoppang at home. The new product is available at major retailers nationwide, including Emart, as well as leading online platforms such as CJ The Market and Market Kurly.

In November, the company plans to introduce a second collaborative product, 'Bibigo Matcha Hotteok,' following the bungeoppang. This product reinterprets hotteok, a classic Korean snack, for the upcoming winter season, offering a chewy dough infused with matcha flavor. It is expected to receive a positive response from a wide range of age groups, appealing not only to younger generations familiar with matcha but also to older generations who prefer traditional snacks.
