- Proven Competitiveness with Consecutive Global Achievements Following Bosch in Germany
- Strengthening Presence in the Global Clean Energy Market and Securing a Foundation for Growth
JNTG, a leading domestic carbon materials company, has been selected as a dedicated hydrogen materials supplier for Hyundai Motors.
Through this partnership, JNTG will supply key materials for Hyundai Motors' next-generation hydrogen commercial vehicle project. Following its collaboration with Bosch in Germany, this marks the company's second major global partnership secured this year. These achievements demonstrate JNTG's technological competitiveness in the clean energy market and further strengthen its foundation for growth.
JNTG develops and manufactures high-performance carbon electrode materials used in clean energy sectors, including materials for hydrogen fuel cells related to the Hyundai Motors project, as well as for water electrolysis systems and energy storage systems (ESS). The company's core competitiveness lies in the technological expertise and manufacturing know-how accumulated over the past 20 years, based on research that began in 2006 at its affiliate JNTC. In addition, JNTG is able to establish customized process equipment through close collaboration with its group company JNTE, a specialist in automation facilities, enabling flexible and efficient production responses.
Jang Jaewon, CEO of JNTG, stated, "With this achievement, we will further solidify our position in the hydrogen mobility market and strive to become the world's No.1 materials company, not just in Korea but globally."
Meanwhile, JNTG plans to further expand its global presence in the clean energy industry. The company aims to strengthen strategic partnerships in key markets such as Europe, North America, and Asia, and pursue market diversification based on its technological capabilities. Furthermore, JNTG will participate in the 'Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe 2025' to be held in Hamburg, Germany this October, where it will enhance networks with global clients and actively promote its technological competitiveness.
