"Unstoppable Our Song"... Cheongsong County to Host National Choir Youth Education Members' Performance

Cheongsong County in North Gyeongsang Province will host the National Choir Youth Education Members' performance, "Timeless Voice - Unstoppable Our Song," at 7:30 p.m. on October 16 at the Cheongsong Culture and Arts Center Grand Theater, wishing for the successful hosting of APEC.

The National Choir Youth Education Members are comprised of outstanding talents who have graduated from university vocal music departments. Through a systematic curriculum, they are developing into the next generation of choral professionals with both choral expertise and artistic capability.

This performance will begin with a choral arrangement of Schumann's "Dichterliebe," which captures the lyricism of German Romanticism. It will also feature the majestic "Gloria" by John Rutter, a master of contemporary British choral music, and "Five Arirangs," which expresses the sentiment of Korea, presenting a rich stage that spans various eras and cultures.

In particular, members of the National Changgeuk Company, the National Symphony Orchestra, and the National Gugak Orchestra Youth Education Members will participate together, creating a moving performance.

Governor Yoon Kyunghee stated, "I hope that the passionate voices of these young artists, wishing for the successful hosting of APEC, will bring hope and inspiration to the residents of the county."
