Strengthening Experiential Marketing for Motorsports Fans
Mascot "Gudol" Engages with Fans and Brand Videos Broadcast
S-Oil has launched an on-site experiential marketing campaign centered around motorsports. By participating in the automotive culture festival "2025 Peaches Run Universe," the company directly engaged with over 30,000 racing fans, boosting brand awareness.
S-Oil TotalEnergies Lubricants announced on October 14 that its engine oil brand "S-Oil Seven" took part in the Peaches Run Universe event, which was held in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, on October 12. This large-scale motorsports festival was hosted by Peaches, a lifestyle brand rooted in automotive culture. The event featured a variety of performances and exhibitions, with a Formula 1 racing car demonstration as its centerpiece.
S-Oil Seven installed banners around the F1 car demonstration track and the main stage, and broadcasted brand videos on the event's live screens. In particular, the engine oil mascot "Gudol Seven" greeted spectators in the stands and held photo sessions, offering interactive experiences for attendees.
S-Oil Seven is already sponsoring the One Racing Team, which competes in the Super 6000 class of the Superrace Championship, Korea's premier motorsports competition. This event was also seen as an extension of the company's communication strategy linked to motorsports, providing an opportunity to broaden its connection with racing fans and strengthen brand affinity.
Olivier Bellion, CEO of S-Oil TotalEnergies Lubricants, said, "It was a meaningful opportunity to connect closely with fans who love motorsports. We will continue to engage with customers through on-site marketing and consistently promote the performance value of S-Oil Seven."
