Jeongeup City in North Jeolla Province will be accepting additional applications for participants in the '3rd Phase Jeongeup-Style Win-Win Job Project' from October 16 to 22.
According to the city on October 14, this recruitment aims to provide job opportunities to citizens facing difficulties in finding employment, thereby guaranteeing a minimum livelihood and boosting motivation to work.
The final 17 individuals selected will be assigned to local environmental maintenance projects and other initiatives, working for approximately two months from November 3 to December 24. Those aged 60 or younger will work 30 hours per week, while those aged 61 or older will work 15 hours per week.
Eligible applicants must be residents of Jeongeup between the ages of 18 and 69 who are capable of working. Household income must not exceed 75% of the median income standard, and total assets must be 400 million won or less. The city will comprehensively evaluate applicants based on income, assets, and number of dependents to select participants.
Citizens interested in these job opportunities should visit the administrative welfare center in their town, township, or neighborhood in person, bringing their ID, job registration certificate, and the seal of their household members.
A city official stated, "We hope this additional recruitment will serve as an opportunity to extend the benefits of employment to more members of vulnerable job-seeking groups."
