Accelerating Efforts to Enter Domestic and International Markets
Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor: Shin Sang-jin) announced on October 14 that it participated in the 'KIMES BUSAN 2025 Busan International Medical Devices Exhibition,' held at BEXCO Exhibition Center 1 in Busan from September 26 to 28, and achieved export consultation results worth approximately 8.3 billion KRW (about 8.3 billion KRW).

This exhibition featured participation from over 300 domestic medical device-related companies, and around 11,000 visitors attended to view various exhibits and engage in consultations.
Seongnam City operated a 'Seongnam City Joint Pavilion' together with six local medical device and bio-healthcare companies, actively conducting business consultations with both domestic and international buyers. The participating companies held a total of 94 domestic and overseas sales consultations, resulting in performance worth about 8.3 billion KRW, with contracts worth approximately 2.4 billion KRW currently under negotiation.
In particular, MMA Korea Co., Ltd., a company specializing in medical gas cleanroom manufacturing facilities, signed a cleanroom contract with a domestic medical institution on-site at the exhibition, achieving results worth about 300 million KRW and demonstrating the outstanding technological capabilities and competitiveness of Seongnam-based companies.
The participating companies showcased advanced healthcare technologies based on artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), attracting interest from representatives of major hospitals. Consumer products such as portable laser pain therapy devices were also exhibited, receiving a positive response from general visitors.
Additionally, consultations were held with buyers from various countries, including the United States, Canada, Japan, and Hong Kong, further expanding the possibilities for entering overseas markets.
The participating companies stated, "Participating in the exhibition greatly helped raise brand awareness and discover new customers," and expressed hope that participation in overseas exhibitions and related support programs will be further expanded in the future.
