Gapyeong County's All-Reservation P7001 Bus Now Operating Normally from the 1st

Reservation Required via MiRi App
Existing Regular Buses Still Boardable Without Reservation

Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi Province announced on October 13 that the new route 'P7001,' operating between Seorak-myeon and Seoul Jamsil Station, has been running normally since the 1st of this month.

Despite the launch of this new route, there have been no changes to the schedules or frequencies of the existing routes (7000, 7001, 7002). With the addition of P7001, the number of weekday trips on the Gapyeong Seorak~Jamsil line has increased by two.

The new P7001 route operates on a full-reservation basis, requiring passengers to book seats through the mobile app 'MiRi.' The existing routes (7000, 7001, 7002) can still be boarded without reservations.

Reservations for the P7001 route can be made from 10 a.m., seven days prior to the travel date, up until one hour before departure. Users can install the 'MiRi' app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store, sign up, top up their deposit, and search for 'Gapyeong,' 'Jamsil,' or 'P7001' to select their preferred departure time and boarding/alighting stops. The deposit is required to prevent so-called 'no-shows' after booking a bus seat. Boarding is only possible using a transportation card registered in the app, and the deposit used for the reservation is automatically refunded once boarding is confirmed.

The deposit for a single reservation is 3,050 won, which is the same as the base fare for the Gyeonggi Circulation Bus. However, since a distance-based fare system applies, even if you travel the full route from Hyojeong Magnolia International Hospital in Seorak-myeon to Jamsil without transfers, the final fare will be approximately 3,550 won.

Additionally, starting from October 27, following the Gyeonggi Province bus fare increase on October 25, the base fare will rise by 400 won to 3,450 won. With the distance-based fare system, the fare for the hospital~Jamsil section without transfers will be adjusted to about 3,950 won.

The P7001 route departs from Hyojeong Magnolia International Hospital, passes through Uleop Village, Seorak Terminal, and Seorak 5-Day Market, and travels to Jamsil Station. It operates twice daily during weekday (Monday to Friday) commuting hours (departing Seorak at 06:35 and 17:30 / departing Jamsil at 08:00 and 18:55). There is no service on weekends or public holidays.

A county official stated, "With the opening of the P7001 route, we expect the commuting environment between Seorak and Jamsil to improve somewhat," adding, "We will continue to work on expanding the metropolitan transportation network to enhance convenience for our residents."
