No Restrictions on Education or Age: Shinhan Bank Launches Recruitment Package for 480 Positions

80 Professionals to Be Hired for Financial Consumer Protection and Internal Control

Shinhan Bank announced on October 13 that it will launch a recruitment package for a total of 480 positions to expand youth employment and create inclusive job opportunities.

No Restrictions on Education or Age: Shinhan Bank Launches Recruitment Package for 480 Positions

This package includes the 100 general positions announced last month, as well as the following: ▲ selection for the Financial Pioneer Internship Program (100 positions), ▲ recruitment of support staff for branch counter work (200 positions), and ▲ hiring of professionals for financial consumer protection and internal control (80 positions). The initiative focuses on strengthening the bank's social responsibility and systematically nurturing future financial talent.

First, Shinhan Bank has established the new "Financial Pioneer Internship Program" to foster young talent. Selected interns will complete basic training on the financial sector at Shinhan Bank’s training center, and then be assigned to business departments to learn about the latest industry trends and practical financial operations. For example, an intern with a major in renewable energy will be placed in an agile team under the loan group to directly experience key issues in the industry and the decision-making process for investments and loan reviews. Those who actively participate in the internship program and achieve outstanding results will be given preferential treatment during recruitment.

A new recruitment track for support staff for branch counter work has also been created. This hiring process is notable for having no restrictions on educational background or age. It aims to help both young and middle-aged individuals, as well as those with interrupted careers, to re-enter the workforce and to create inclusive job opportunities. Selected employees will support simple and straightforward tasks at branches, helping to improve financial accessibility for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and people with disabilities.

In addition, Shinhan Bank is recruiting professionals with on-site experience in the areas of financial consumer protection and internal control.

A Shinhan Bank representative stated, "This recruitment package is designed to help resolve youth unemployment and support the return of individuals with interrupted careers," adding, "We will continue to broaden the diversity and expertise of our financial talent recruitment to take the lead in realizing social value."
