EcoPro BM is moving forward with plans to establish a sales subsidiary in Europe. The company aims to upgrade its European liaison office in Germany to a corporation, broadening its business scope beyond cathode material marketing to include recycling and diversifying its customer base.

EcoPro BM announced on the 13th that it is considering upgrading its recently established European liaison office in Germany to a corporation. With the European electric vehicle market expanding, the goal is to strengthen the global value chain by establishing a cooperative system between its Korean headquarters and local European battery clients.

The European battery market is rapidly growing alongside the electric vehicle industry, and there is an increasing demand for regional procurement and supply chain diversification. It is also necessary to respond to localization regulations such as the European Union's Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA). EcoPro BM plans to enhance communication with potential customers in Europe and expand the business scope of its local corporation to include not only cathode materials but also the securing of recycling feedstock.
