[Market Focus] Doosan Enerbility Surges on News of First Gas Turbine Export, Hits Record High

Doosan Enerbility saw its stock price rise and set a new 52-week high during intraday trading following news of its first gas turbine export.

As of 9:25 a.m. on October 13, Doosan Enerbility was trading at 75,800 won on the Korea Exchange, up 1,300 won (1.74%) from the previous session. During the session, the price climbed as high as 76,400 won, setting a new 52-week high.

On this day, Doosan Enerbility announced that it had signed a contract to supply two large-scale 380 MW gas turbines to a major U.S. information technology company. The company plans to deliver the gas turbines to the United States by the end of next year. This marks Doosan Enerbility's first case of supplying gas turbines to an overseas market.
