Photos Taken by Tourist Passing Nearby Last Month

On October 11 (local time), the British Daily Mail published photos showing former Prime Minister Trudeau and Perry hugging and kissing on a yacht.
In the photos, former Prime Minister Trudeau is seen shirtless, wearing only pants and sunglasses, while Perry has her hair tied up and is dressed in a swimsuit.
The photos were reportedly taken by a tourist passing near Santa Barbara, California, at the end of last month. The tourist said, "At first, I didn't know who Perry was with," and added, "I recognized former Prime Minister Trudeau by the tattoo on the man's arm." Trudeau got a tattoo of a raven, a symbol of the Canadian Indigenous Haida people, on his left shoulder for his 40th birthday.
Rumors of their relationship first surfaced in July. American entertainment media outlet TMZ reported footage and photos of the two having dinner together at a high-end restaurant in Montreal, Canada.

At the time, as rumors spread, major foreign media outlets such as AP News Agency and The New York Times contacted both Trudeau and Perry for comment, but received no response.
Former Prime Minister Trudeau, who served for more than nine years since 2015, resigned in early January amid declining approval ratings and internal and external pressure to step down. He is currently separated from Sophie Gregoire, a former broadcaster, after 18 years of marriage, with the separation beginning in August last year. Perry ended her relationship with American actor Orlando Bloom, whom she had been dating since 2016, in July of this year.
