On October 10 at 7 p.m., Seongnam Mayor Shin Sangjin attended the commemorative performance for Pregnant Women's Day, titled "A Classical Journey for Mothers and Babies," held at the Seongnam Mulbit Garden Music Hall in Bundang-gu, Seongnam. He offered words of encouragement to pregnant women and their families.

In his greeting, Mayor Shin stated, "Pregnant Women's Day was established in accordance with the Maternal and Child Health Act. It is intended to promote social consideration for pregnancy and childbirth, symbolized by the abundant month of October and the ten-month pregnancy period." He added, "I extend my congratulations to all pregnant women and their families who are nurturing new life, and I wish you a safe delivery."

Mayor Shin went on to emphasize, "To protect the health of newborns, Seongnam City will launch a free pertussis vaccination support program starting in November. We will also actively promote student education to improve awareness of low birth rates, as well as marriage encouragement initiatives such as Solomon's Choice. We are committed to continuously supporting happy families and healthy childbirth."
