A case involving two deceased individuals-a man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s-was discovered in a villa in Bongam-ri, Yeonseo-myeon, Sejong City.

According to the Sejong Fire Department, a report was received at approximately 1:56 p.m. on October 10, 2025. Although firefighters were dispatched to the scene, both individuals were found in cardiac arrest upon discovery. The advanced state of decomposition suggests that a significant amount of time had passed since their deaths.

The incident came to light when a person who had visited the tenants’ residence due to overdue rent knocked on the door but received no response, raising suspicions of an accident and prompting a call to emergency services. The police, who took over the case from the fire department, are currently investigating the motive.
