This volunteer activity was organized to mark the 100th day since Dongyang Life Insurance became a subsidiary of Woori Financial Group in July, and to fulfill its social responsibility as a corporate citizen in partnership with the local community.

This was the first time CEO Sung Daegyu participated in on-site volunteer work since the company joined Woori Financial Group. Members of the "Junior Board," a group of young employees who propose ideas to enhance the company's sustainability and competitiveness, also took part in the event.

A total of 100 boxes containing nutritious and convenient meals, such as chicken soup and samgyetang, were delivered to the Yeongdeungpo Shelter Counseling Center.

CEO Sung stated, "With the major national holiday Chuseok approaching, I participated in this volunteer activity hoping that the elderly will enjoy a healthy and abundant holiday. As a member of Woori Financial Group, Dongyang Life Insurance will continue to establish itself as a life insurance company that shares warm values not only with customers but also with the local community."

Meanwhile, Dongyang Life Insurance has continued to carry out various volunteer activities for the local community this year. In May, in cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the company created a 710-square-meter children's garden called "The Second Guardian Angel's Garden" at Boramae Park. It also delivered cold weather gift boxes to elderly people living alone and held economic and environmental camps for children from vulnerable backgrounds.
