Icheon Rice Culture Festival to Be Held at Icheon Agricultural Theme Park from the 22nd to the 26th

The Icheon Rice Culture Festival, the representative festival of Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province, will be held for five days from the 22nd to the 26th at the Icheon Agricultural Theme Park.

This year marks the 224th edition of the festival, with 14 towns, townships, and neighborhoods participating under the theme "The Joy of Rice Connecting Taste and Style." The festival will showcase Icheon rice and a variety of foods, hands-on experiences, and performances made using it.

In particular, SK Hynix will set up the "Semiconductor, the Rice of Industry" pavilion at the festival. The pavilion will highlight the shared value of rice and semiconductors, delivering the message that just as the care put into a single grain of rice has enriched Icheon today, the technology in a single semiconductor chip will open the way to the future.

For the convenience of visitors during the festival, the YS Life Science idle lot and the Termeden parking lot will be temporarily opened.

To operate the festival in an eco-friendly manner, all food served at the event will be provided in reusable containers.
