Practical Programs Covering Employment, Side Hustles, Personal Color, and Health
Guri City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyunghyun) announced on October 10 that it is recruiting participants for the October session of the '2025 Guri City Youth Growth Project,' which has been underway since April after being selected for a Ministry of Employment and Labor public contest. Applications will be accepted until 1:00 p.m. on the 30th.
This project was established to systematically support local youth in strengthening their employment competitiveness and fostering self-directed growth.
The October program targets young people aged 15 to 39 who reside or work in Guri City, and consists of a total of 10 practical courses covering topics such as job and business startup preparation, self-development, and health management. Each course is limited to 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Major programs include: ▲ Company analysis and resume clinic for job seekers (21st) ▲ Side business craft class teaching profitable side hustle items (16th, 11:30 p.m.) ▲ Special lecture on personal color to enhance individual appeal (18th) ▲ Education on proper posture and home training routines to help establish healthy lifestyle habits (25th).
Applications can be submitted via the QR code on the poster or through an online link, and the courses will be held on the 4th floor of the Guri City Youth Tomorrow Center.
Baek Kyunghyun, Mayor of Guri City, stated, "We will ensure that the October program is operated with substance so that young people can realize their potential and receive practical support as they enter society."
