What Blessings Did Individual Investors Wish For Under the Chuseok Full Moon?

KCGI Asset Management announced on October 10 that, in a survey conducted over two days from October 1 to 2 in celebration of Chuseok, 46% (151 out of 331 respondents) selected "wealth" as the blessing they most wished to receive this year.

This was followed by "peace of mind" (30%), "good health" (17%), and "opportunity" (7%).

Among investors who chose "wealth," the most common single answer was "I want to become rich." Many also expressed hopes and concerns related to preparing for retirement, as well as the necessity of such preparation, especially in light of increasing life expectancy.

Those who selected "peace of mind" preferred happiness for their families, psychological stability, and improved personal relationships. Many respondents wished for "peace of mind as the greatest blessing" and for "better relationships with family and friends."

Investors hoping for "good health" responded that "wealth is good, but health is the most important."

Those wishing for "opportunity" looked forward to good fortune in the job market, especially as the fall recruitment season begins amid a challenging employment environment.

A representative from KCGI Asset Management explained the results of the Chuseok survey, saying, "It appears that customers are increasingly interested in asset growth and retirement preparation." The representative added, "We will do our best to fulfill our role as a partner in our customers' retirement planning."
